2006 :# 7 Sarah Pele -5'10 Opp

Full Athletic Scholarship to Bethany College

Sareh Pele is starting her 3rd quarter on a full-ride scholarship to Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. NAIA Division III.

Sareh played high school at Westmoor high school, and played her first year at Skyline in 2005 under Jan Fostberg as a setter. In 2006, under the new head coach, Sareh had a breakout year as the starting opposite attacker. She quickly became a standout player averaging .305 hitting percentage throughout her the 2006 season, and had a season high .521 at her final match with De Anza College. As a member of the All-Conference team, Sareh started training to be recruited by an out-of-state school, and was quickly picked up by Bethany College.

Sareh still has 2 years of eligibility, so she choose to red shirt her first season so she could adjust to her new environment. She looks forward to pounding down kills in the 2009-2010 season.

2007-Kelly Burke-5'10 OH

San Francisco State University DII

Kelly Burke joined the Skyline Volleyball after Canada dropped their program in 2007. She made a immediate impact on the court as a all-round player. Kelly maintained a .332 kill percentage, and 87% attack efficiency. Kelly was All-Conference in 2006 and 2007, she a member of the 2007 Academic Excellence Team for Nor-Cal Section. Kelly went to an open call tryout at San Francisco State, and was an OH/ DS in 2007 for the SF Gators.

2008- #8 Kristine Evangelista Signs at York College (NAIA)

SCVB's 2008 starting setter signed with York College in Omaha, Nebarska. Kristine was a state leader in assists and 9th in aces. Kristine led her team to 3rd in the north Coast Conference. She lead in the classroom, she was the finalist for the 2008 Merit Scholarship ($19,000 per year) for her academic excellence. Kristine will continue her athletic and academic success at York College in Veterinary Sciences.
